Type O Negative “The Best of Type O Negative” CD

• 2006 compilation surveying Type O Negative's Roadrunner catalog.
• Includes 'Christian Woman,' 'Black No. 1' and 'Love You to Death.'
• Connects the band's heavy early material with its later gothic melodies.

For fans of: Paradise Lost, Danzig, Life of Agony

This collection brings Type O Negative's crushing low end, dry humor and surprisingly lush melodies into one sequence. Peter Steele's voice gives the songs their unmistakable center, moving between a deep croon and harsher delivery. The changing arrangements show how naturally the band could make gothic atmosphere, doom-weight riffs and strong pop instincts coexist.
