Twenty One Pilots “Scaled and Icy” CD

• Includes 'Shy Away,' 'Choker' and 'Saturday.'
• Pairs bright pop arrangements with the duo's mix of sung and rapped vocals.

For fans of: half•alive, AJR, Foster the People

Scaled and Icy favors compact songs, bright colors and an easy sense of movement. The approachable surface leaves room for uneasy lyrics and sudden changes in tone, giving the hooks something to push against. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun keep the production nimble, moving between guitar-led pop, electronic touches and tightly framed rhythmic passages.
