The Strokes “The New Abnormal” CD

• The Strokes' 2020 studio album.
• Includes "The Adults Are Talking," "Bad Decisions" and "At the Door."
• Interlocking guitars meet synthesizers and spacious arrangements.

For fans of: Interpol, The Voidz, Arctic Monkeys

The New Abnormal stretches the Strokes' familiar guitar interplay across more open, patient songs. Julian Casablancas moves between detached phrasing and exposed high notes, while synthesizers and sustained chords alter the shape of the arrangements. Its strongest moments let tension accumulate gradually, making small melodic turns feel as consequential as the larger hooks.
