System of a Down “Mezmerize” CD

• Combines abrupt rhythmic changes, heavy riffs and layered vocal harmonies.

For fans of: Serj Tankian, Faith No More, Rage Against the Machine

Mezmerize compresses a wide range of ideas into short, sharply shaped songs. Riffs lurch into unexpected rhythms, vocal lines swing between agitation and tenderness, and choruses appear where the arrangements seem ready to splinter. System of a Down keep that volatility purposeful, making the album's intensity inseparable from its unusual melodic sense.

Listen: B.Y.O.B.
