Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's 2021 collaborative album as Silk Sonic.
Includes "Leave the Door Open," "Skate" and "Smokin Out the Window."
Rich vocal harmonies, warm instrumental textures and tightly played soul-funk grooves.
For fans of: The Delfonics, The Stylistics, Earth, Wind & Fire
An Evening with Silk Sonic builds its pleasures from the details of ensemble playing: a clipped guitar phrase, a precisely placed drum fill or a harmony that opens at the right moment. Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak give the songs contrasting vocal personalities, balancing romantic polish with wit. The result feels carefully arranged and enjoyably loose in equal measure.
