Nucleus “Live In Europe 1970-1971” LP

• Vinyl Lovers LP featuring live European recordings from 1970 and 1971.
• Ian Carr’s early Nucleus lineup includes Karl Jenkins, Chris Spedding, and John Marshall.
• Draws on material from Elastic Rock and We’ll Talk About It Later.

For fans of: Soft Machine, Miles Davis, Colosseum

These early live performances capture Nucleus building a bridge between British jazz and electric rock. Horn-led themes open into fluid improvisation, with the rhythm section keeping the music moving through shifting grooves and spacious passages. A useful snapshot of Ian Carr’s band near the beginning of its recording career.
