Muse “Origin of Symmetry” CD

• Muse's 2001 second studio album.
• Includes 'Plug In Baby,' 'New Born' and 'Bliss.'
• Combines guitar-driven rock with prominent piano, organ and electronic textures.

For fans of: Radiohead, Placebo, The Mars Volta

Origin of Symmetry turns a three-piece band's sound into something far larger through prominent bass, restless drumming and Matt Bellamy's dramatic vocal delivery. Piano figures and distorted guitar lines push the songs toward sudden peaks. The arrangements can be elaborate, but their sharp melodic outlines keep the record's energy immediate rather than remote.
