Mugger has quickly made a name for themselves as a standout in the musically rich city of Austin, Texas. With members from Creepoid, Radioactivity and The Well, they garnered attention for their ability to blend influences from 77’ punk to blown-out hardcore. Mugger has played with notable acts such as Scowl, End It, Show Me the Body, Circle Jerks, Gel, and recently finished an East Coast tour with the legendary hardcore band Negative Approach. Their first EP “Get a Clue” was released in 2024 via Quiet Panic and sold out quickly. “Get a Clue” touches on ideas of power, and the inherent imbalance that often accompanies it. This theme runs through the entirety of their catalog, along with their ethos of making room for everybody. “Mugger is for everyone,” says singer Anna Troxell.
