2025 remastered expanded edition of Metallica's 1996 album.
Forty-one tracks across three CDs.
Includes demos, rough mixes and live material alongside the remastered album.
For fans of: Alice in Chains, Corrosion of Conformity, Soundgarden
Load finds Metallica stretching its riff-driven writing into slower grooves, bluesy textures and more open-ended songs. This expanded edition connects the finished album with recordings from its development and live life, offering different perspectives on the material. The added context makes the band's rhythmic weight and melodic experiments easier to hear as parts of the same project.
