Meteora sharpens Linkin Park's blend of heavy guitars, programmed detail and contrasting vocal styles into a remarkably compact set of songs. This anniversary edition opens that world out through live performances and demos. The extra material gives familiar arrangements a useful context, revealing the work and performance energy behind the album's tightly controlled finished sound.
