Official repress. "Born To Expire" was a landmark release for New York hardcore, infusing elements of crossover, thrash, metal and even hip hop. It was recorded in 1987 but not released until 1989 by Rock Hotel and Profile Records and reissued briefly in 1996 on Another Planet.
Recorded in November 1987 at Normandy Sound in Warren, Rhode Island, the album blends elements of hardcore punk and thrash metal, featuring tracks like "Enforcer" and "Catholic High School (Girls in Trouble). Born to Expire is considered a classic in the crossover thrash genre, influencing numerous bands in the hardcore and metal scenes.
