Honeymoon moves at the pace of a long afternoon turning into night. Strings hover over restrained beats while Lana Del Rey delivers songs of distance, desire and withdrawal with measured intensity. Its spacious arrangements make room for small shifts in mood, from the cool detachment of High By the Beach to the title track's suspended grandeur.
