Live Forever lets Hurray for the Riff Raff's songs breathe in the presence of an audience. Alynda Segarra's voice carries the stories with directness, while the band gives the arrangements room to gather momentum, soften or break open. The performance setting brings out the communal feeling in the music, connecting intimate observations with a wider sense of endurance and belonging.
