Hashtronaut’s debut LP, No Return, marks a significant entry into the stoner doom metal scene. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, the trio crafts a sound that melds heavy riffs with psychedelic undertones, drawing comparisons to genre stalwarts like Sleep, Bongzilla, and Weedeater. 

No Return is a nine-track, 41-minute journey through dense, fuzz-laden soundscapes. The album opens with “Rip Wizard,” setting a tone of heavy, mid-tempo grooves. “Cough It Up” follows, delivering a sinister riff that transitions into a swampy, psychedelic experience. “Carcinogen” stands out with its crushing bass tones and doom-laden atmosphere. The album concludes with “Marsquake,” a track noted for its bluesy, psychedelic feel, before the brief outro “Blast Off” provides a final, whiplashing punch.
