Gorillaz “Gorillaz” CD

• Gorillaz's 2001 debut studio album.
• Includes 'Clint Eastwood,' '19-2000' and 'Tomorrow Comes Today.'
• Brings together Damon Albarn's songwriting, Dan the Automator's production and guest performers.

For fans of: Deltron 3030, Massive Attack, Beck

The first Gorillaz album builds its world from dubby bass, dusty beats and Damon Albarn's worn-in melodies. Guests appear as part of the atmosphere rather than distractions from it. The songs shift comfortably between rap, playful pop and stranger instrumental corners, leaving enough space for the record's hazy, slightly dislocated mood to settle.
