The first solo release from Tom Flynn (Tapeworm, Fang, Duh, Star Pimp, Cornelius Asperger, Antler Family, Suboptics, Melvins, etc.). "Do the Thud" is a sludgy glob of blues-metal coughed up from the diseased lung of a depressed walrus, featuring Flynn's usual guitar strangulations. The flip side "Balloons vs. Grenades" is a hyper new-wave robot attack, a political cry for help.

Both tracks feature 1000 tons of drumming talent residing in the person of Dale Crover (Melvins), as well as additional vocals from Elma Marcelle Poulos (Star Pimp) in her long awaited return to the microphone.
