Shoegazy post-hardcore band Fleshwater have announced their second full-length album, 2000: In Search Of The Endless Sky. It’s the follow-up to 2022’s We’re Not Here To Be Loved, They recorded guitars and bass with Zach Weeks and Converge’s Kurt Ballou, and self-recorded their vocals at home. The album also features Pianos Become the Teeth’s David Haik on drums.
The first single is “Jetpack,” which guitarist and vocalist Anthony Didio says is “a really special song that takes me on an adventure every time I hear it. It was the main source of inspiration for this album and really encapsulates the entire vibe of it. I’m excited for people to finally hear it and have it take them on their own personal journey.”
Fleshwater supported Deftones on tour earlier this year, and they begin their fall headlining tour with Angel Du$t and Chat Pile in September, including an NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on October 28 with Chat Pile.
