Carambolage "Carambolage" LP

• The German trio recorded its self-titled debut in the summer of 1980.
• Rio Reiser and R.P.S. Lanrue produced the album for David Volksmund Produktion.
• Elfie's guitar and vocals meet Angie's bass and organ and Britta's drumming.

Carambolage turn rough-edged guitars, nimble bass, and offbeat organ into a distinctive strain of German punk. Direct lyrics and inventive playing give the songs a sharp, personal voice within the early new-wave scene.
