Alice in Chains “Jar of Flies” CD

• Seven-song EP released in 1994.
• Emphasizes acoustic guitar and layered vocal harmonies.
• Includes No Excuses, I Stay Away, and Nutshell.

For fans of: Mad Season, Days of the New, and acoustic alternative rock.

Jar of Flies reveals how much power Alice in Chains could generate without relying on their heaviest riffs. Acoustic instruments and a looser rhythmic feel give the voices more room, while the band's characteristic dissonance remains intact. The songs feel exposed and unsettled, making this short release a substantial companion to their louder studio albums.
