The newest from the leaders of blackened crustgrind.
Following the release of their pummeling debut, Grand Scheme, WØRSEN returns with eight more tracks of potent fury that push their extreme sound into even darker territory. What began as an explosive amalgam of d-beat, grindcore, and blackened punk has evolved into a barbaric monstrosity of chaos drawing more from the black and death metal ends of the sonic spectrum. The charging d-beats still make an occasional appearance, but the traces of noisy punk are all but obliterated by a barrage of lethal riffs and demented vocals backed by a stronger production. For those ready to be decimated by unrelenting sonic force, Stronghold beckons. Enter if you dare.
